Romeo and Juliet: Video Post

I found this video on youtube and I knew the song preveiously. I thought this song related to Romeo and Juliet because it's all about the guy leaving and still wanting to be with the girl. He's hoping they can be together someday and be happy again, but he's not sure. Romeo got banished so that would represent the guy leaving and wanting to come back to Juliet so they can be together.

Romeo and Juliet Photo Post

This phototgraph relates to Romeo and Juliet because it is a scene in the play. It's one of the most important scenes so far I believe. This scene is the balcony scene. Where Romeo and Juliet decide that they are truley madly in love with each other and they want to get married. They speak about how they can't let their parents know about them or they'll get killed.

Romeo and Juliet, Act Two

I think that the balcony scence was very interesting. The characters involved are Romeo and Juliet. Romeo is practically spying on Juliet and then she starts talking about him. He pops out of the bushes then they start love talking to eachother. It's a very cute and strange scene all at the same time. They start babbling on about how they love eachother and how they will most likely not be able to be together and then BAM, they're like, "lets get married." It's wierd.

I think this scene will greatly affect the future because if this scene never happened they would have never decided to get married. Romeo wouldn't have run off to talk with Friar about marrige and he would have been sad that she was a Capulet and he was a Montague and couldn't be together. Now he's happy that he has a chance to marry her and has her love. I would have to say that I haven't been in this type of situation before. I'm not planning on running off and falling in love and getting married anytime soon. Also if there was a guy like Romeo hiding in my bushes after I met him just once I would probably freak out because that is serious stalker actions and then I would tell my dad or someone to go get him off the property.

Characters in Romeo and Juliet

I choose Romeo. He is a very sensitive and love struck teenager who thinks he has to get married right now. Whenever he meets a pretty girl he thinks he's in love and forgets about the last girl he was "in love" with. He also seems to be depressed A LOT because of his love problems. Such as if the girl he likes doesn't like him back he doesn't want to move on and he becomes very sad and a downer for everyone around. I think he would look hansome and nice since he is very romantic. If I met him in my everyday life I would probably be taken back by his thoughtfulness since guys aren't like that now, but I also think that he would get annoying very quickly. Always complaining about love and not living to have fun at all. It would get old.
Someone I think is a lot like Romeo is one of my girlfriends. I won't say a name but she is always obbessing about guys and she always wants my advice. I give it to her and she always says that shes going to talk to the guy, that she likes, but she never does. Such as she wanted to ask him to tolo but she didn't do since she chickened out, but then she was sad that she didn't do it in time and that was all that she would talk about. She got really annoying and I told her to forget about him or do something to change it, there are so many other people out there, just like Benvolio did for Romeo by making him go to the party.
